I realize that. However, this video seems less like honest debate and more like yet another excuse for an atheist wank-fest on youtube, so I decided to poke fun. *yawn*. As an agnostic, I sympathize with both sides of the debate, but I’ve got little tolerance for ‘true believers’ of either stripe, and when he writes a song centered around an obvious straw man, it doesn’t come off as clever, it comes off as a variation on Leno’s ‘Jaywalking’ skit.
I think us living ‘twice as long as our great-great-great-great Uncles and Auntses’ has more to do with not storing our dead and our poo in our drinking water anymore than it does ‘recent medical advances’. Just maybe.
